Washed Robusta is also known as Robusta Parchment. It is used primarily in instant coffee, espresso, and as a filler in ground coffee blends. Robusta has its origins in central and western sub-Saharan Africa. It represents approximately 40% of global coffee production with Arabica constituting the balance.
Sieve Standard- Minimum 90% by weight retention on a sieve with round holes of 6.00mm (Screen 15). Not more than 1.5% by weight shall pass through a sieve with round holes of 5.50mm (Screen 14).
